Originally from De La Bulle Rouge in Hungary, Rhea represents an exceptional pedigree, boasting a lineage rich with international championsand world winners—a rarity in the U.S.

Rhea’s temperament is as impressive as her lineage. She is calm, loving, and confident, with a protective nature that makes her the perfect companion for both humans and animals. She interacts wonderfully with all creatures, from cats and chickens to large and small dogs, and her gentle nature around children makes her a trusted guardian. Rhea’s favorite activities include swimming, where she can spend hours in the water, and a quirky love for volleyball, which showcases her playful side. One of her unique traits is that she loves to be by your side no matter where you are, and she’s known to chase shadows, adding a little humor to her personality.

Physically, Rhea has an extra-large frame, with an exceptional head and a strong, muscular body. She has developed into a beautiful Dogue de Bordeaux, growing into her once-lanky puppy body and now rivaling the quality of her renowned ancestry. She is the result of a four-generation line-breeding that includes some of the world’s finest Dogues, including international champions like Johnny Cash De La Bulle Rouge and Tanakajd Szepe Apollo Creed.

Rhea is part of our breeding program because there are very few, if any, Dogues in the U.S. with her quality of pedigree. She represents an exciting opportunity for our program and for anyone looking for a show or breed-quality Dogue de Bordeaux.
